Packages are generally dispatched within 3 business days after receipt of payment if all items are currently In Stock.
A tracking number will be provided if available and will be accessible via your Order page available under your Account Profile.
Shipping fees include handling and packing fees as well as postage costs. We cannot group two distinct orders placed separately, and shipping fees will apply to each of them, If an order is placed with an Available product and a additional item(s) listed as either on Back-Order/Preorder, your order will be sent as soon as all items in your order are available, We do not separate orders into multiple deliveries, If you wish to receive the items separately as soon as they are available, it will incur a separate delivery charge ($15) for each of the items in your order.
Your package will be dispatched at your own risk, but special care is taken to protect fragile objects.
All units are checked personally prior to shipping ensuring all items are in good quality, but as a mass produced toy line, there are variations in the manufacturing process that do occur. This can include but is not limited to, slight creases or scuff marks on packaging, minor paint variations, stickers included or not included on boxes etc etc. These are all considered "minor variations" in a mass produced product and are not in the control of Comic Duo.
Orders may need to be signed upon reciept, Please ensure that somebody is available Monday-Friday to accept delivery.
If an order has been returned to us either due to failing to be picked up from the depot in a reasonable time, or if an incorrect address was provided, we can reship orders, but shipping will need to be repaid ($15) to cover the cost of reshipping, this is because the original shipping paid will be for the first attempt only.
In any instances where your order is not able to be delivered either due to shipping to a non-serviceable area or large orders to a PO box, we will contact you to discuss alternative options.
Authority to leave a parcel for an Unattended Delivery
All parcels we send out use track and trace facilities and require a signature on delivery by default. So ideally the parcel will arrive when you are at the address you arranged, you sign for it and everything is complete.
If you prefer for the parcel to be left at your delivery address in your absense. We can offer what is called an "Authority to Leave".
If you would prefer for the delivery person to leave the parcel for you in your absense, please tick the box "Authority to Leave" during the order stage.
It is important to consider that if you elect to have an authority to leave on your order, then we can no longer guarantee that you will receive your order, nor the other factors that can effect your parcel whilst it is sitting unattended - like rain, heat, dirt, damage, etc. In this situation, we can only guarantee delivery and quality up to the point that the track and trace tells us the goods were left for you.
We take pride in ensuring that your goods have been carefully picked are packed with care to ensure that your item is not only of the highest possible quality, but that it arrives safely at your nominated delivery address. We recognise the importance of buying mint condition collectables and do the best we possibly can to ensure they remain that way from door to door.
We do our best to hand pick quality items, however you might not receive a perfect box or paint job. There may be shelf-wear or slight imperfections. Unfortunately, we will not be able to exchange/refund items due to imperfections.
However, sometimes items do become damaged in transit or there is some form of manufacturing defect thereby making the goods unfit for their intended purpose. If this is the case with your item please contact Comic Duo immediately via email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Customers who have purchased from Comic Duo should note that all returns/exchange enquiries must be received by Comic Duo within 7 days of you receiving your goods at your nominated delivery address. A Comic Duo representative will be in contact with you within 1 - 2 business days after receiving your enquiry.
Upon receiving notification of damage or a manufacturing defect, we may request photographic evidence of the parcel and/or the the particular product that has the issue. We will review this photo and contact you at our earliest convenience to discuss your options in relation to the product issue.
Any request for a cancellation on a Pre-Order order will incur a 10% cancellation fee, No exception.
Any request for cancellation for In-Stock/Back Ordered orders, will incur a 20% cancellation fee which covers the Cancellation fee (10%) + Restocking Fee (10%), No exception.
Any request for cancellation for Returned to Sender orders, will incur a 20% cancellation fee which covers the Cancellation fee (10%) + Restocking Fee (10%), and any remaining amount minus shipping will be provided as store credit only, No exception.
Change of Mind
Comic Duo does not offer refunds for change of mind. In the event you would like to return your item for another product or store credit, the customer is liable for any and all shipping costs associated. The item must be returned to Comic Duo in exactly the same condition it was received by the customer.
You must contact Comic Duo to discuss any exchange within 30 days of receiving your item. Comic Duo reserves the right to refuse any return of a product due to change of mind.
All refunds are at the discretion of Comic Duo. Unless your item is deemed defective or is different from what was advertised you will not be entitled to a refund.
In the event of a refund, you will receive your money in the same manner and currency in which you paid ie. Credit Card, PayPal, ZipPay, Afterpay.
Refunds to credit card will be made to the exact card that was used to purchase the item. The refund will be made in Australian Dollars (AUD) at the current exchange rate. Comic Duo is not liable for any variation in amount refunded due to exchange rates.
It can take up to 30 days for the refund to show up on the card statement.
In the event of your card expiring or being cancelled, the refund will need to be made through Bank Transfer or Paypal. Comic Duo can not refund money onto a different credit card.
How a refund is credited depends on how the original payment was made:
If you paid with your bank account (eCheck or Instant Transfer) or PayPal balance, the money will go back to your PayPal balance.
If you paid by credit card, the money will go back to your card. It can take up to 30 days for the refund to show up on the card statement.
Refunds are issued in Australian Dollars (AUD) at Paypal’s current currency exchange rate. Comic Duo is not liable for any variation in amount refunded due to exchange rates.
Transfers from financial institutions are not instant, and it may take up to 3 - 5 working days from the time the transfer was made to receive your refund.
When we issue a ZipPay refund, your zipPay account will be automatically credited. Should you experience a delay longer than 5 days after receiving confirmation from us that you have been refunded, please contact Customer Care for assistance.
We will notify Afterpay of your return and your Afterpay payment plan will be adjusted accordingly. Please note that the refund amounts are taken off the last payment(s) first. If at least one payment has been made in relation to the purchase, and the refunded amount is greater than the amount outstanding, the difference between these amounts will be refunded to the credit/debit card that you used to place the order.
